PLUS: Mozilla's AI chatbot and new gen AI benchmark
Hey folks, today we have Snowflake and NVIDIA partnering for their enterprise customers. Then MDN is releasing an AI chatbot for web development and again NVIDIA excelling on ML benchmarks.
Also, there are a bunch of funding highlights in the misc. section today.
Let’s get to it.

Highlights if you've only got 2 minutes

Snowflake—the data cloud company—is on cloud nine right now. It acquired Neeva and Streamlit just a few weeks ago, and now Snowflake partners with Nvidia. Its customers can now build AI models using their own data using Nvidia’s NeMo framework in Snowflake Data Cloud.
From my POV, Snowflake is partnering and buying companies left and right to keep their enterprise users within their system. That means expanding from just storing data for them and bringing tools to build something useful with that data.

I’ve been playing with actual code a little for some time now, and I’ll honest, getting stuck with ChatGPT is not rare. And some of you smart coders from the community have told me to use MDN’s guides.
And that got a whole lot easier. MDN just launched an AI chatbot for their guides in partnership with Supabase (disclaimer: I’m an investor in Supabase).
It uses the good old embeddings to find the relevant guides and then GPT 3.5 to answer your questions from those pages. It’s currently limited to 5 questions a day, but I can’t wait to try it out.

Another one from NVIDIA. So the big guns, AKA its H100 GPU clusters, beat records on all 8 MLperf benchmarks, including one new benchmark for generative AI.
It completed the GPT-3 based benchmark in 11 minutes with the GPU accelerator company CoreWeave. It’s hard to see anyone catch up to NVIDIA in the GPU game soon.
