Amazon has launched Amazon Q, an AI assistant for business use cases like customer service, knowledge sharing, and app development.

What's going on here?

Amazon Q will help employees by answering questions, summarizing reports, writing content, and automating tasks using a company's connected data and documents.

What does this mean?

It has 40+ built-in enterprise software connectors and only accesses files each user can view. It cites internal sources used to generate each response.

There are three main use cases:
