Alright, let’s get to it!

  • This week AI researchers grabbed two Nobel Prizes. Geoffrey Hinton and John Hopfield were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics for their work on neural networks in the 1980s. Also, the Nobel Prize for Chemistry was shared by Demis Hassabis and John Jumper for their work on protein folding with AlphaFold2 in 2020, with biochemist David Baker. Going along with AI is the way to innovate and advance, even in pure science.

  • Now, let’s talk shop. The Information has shared a report on OpenAI’s financials that claim it is making $4B in revenue while spending $9B and the losses can go up to $14B in 2026. The hope for profit begins in 2029, all while Microsoft will keep getting a 20% share of all revenue.

Learn how to use AI to write winning bid proposals

Writing bid proposals means countless documents to review and strict requirements to meet. AI can streamline this process, helping you create competitive, compliant bids in a fraction of the time.

Step 1. Prepare your documents

Gather all relevant materials: the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document, your product documentation, and any internal resources like FAQs or past proposals. Having these ready will make the AI-assisted process much smoother.

Step 2. Leverage AI for bid creation

  • Use ChatGPT to analyze the ITT, extracting key requirements and evaluation criteria

  • Create a semi-filled bid template with AI-generated questions for each section using the new ChatGPT Canvas

  • Collect answers from your documentation using AI to expedite the process.

  • Draft and refine proposal sections, using ChatGPT's Canvas for easy editing.

  • Enhance persuasiveness by focusing on client needs and industry terminology.

Tip: While ChatGPT's Canvas feature is powerful, it's still in beta. Be prepared to switch between Canvas and regular chat as needed for the best results.

This walkthrough is a condensed version of this tutorial. The full tutorial covers using complex documents and prompts to use AI reliably. Check it out.
