1. Three OpenAI leaders go off-duty. OpenAI’s president Greg Brockman is also taking a leave of absence for the rest of this year. Another co-founder of OpenAI, John Schulman, is leaving the company to do more “hands-on work” on alignment at Anthropic. The Information reports that ChatGPT’s product lead Peter Deng is on his way out too.

2. OpenAI has also announced plans for its 2024 Dev Day. Dev Day is coming to London and Singapore in addition to San Francisco this year but it’ll be on a smaller scale than last year’s. As far as expectations go, don’t expect GPT-5.
