Figma makes ChatGPT visual
PLUS: Naver releases AI chatbot, Lex, Huggingface and other AI startups raise funds.
Hello folks, here’s what we have today;
Our picks
1/
Say hello to Jambot in Figma. It is a FigJam widget that lets you ideate, summarize, and riff in Figma. Born out of an internal hackathon from Figma, Jambot turns idea exploration with ChatGPT into a visual exercise (rather than just chat) and adds multiplayer flavor to it. More from the team that built it.

Naver unveils its generative AI product HyperCLOVA X. Naver is the Google of South Korea (it is the biggest search engine there). Now, Naver is also dipping its hands in the gen AI space and has launched a chatbot app CLOVA X in beta. Another AI search service, Cue, will launch in beta in September. Also, Naver is working with Samsung to produce AI-efficient chips.

Lex raises $2.75M for its AI writing tool that helps writers get past blocks. I’m an investor. Nathan is a friend, and I couldn’t be more excited to back him in building Lex. Lex is also spinning out of Every (Nathan and Dan’s media company) and getting a new sleek logo.
