Uh oh, looks like Meta are deciding to wade their way into that totally old school industry of AI services. And you’ll be glad to hear it isn’t centred around virtual reality this time… Apparently, they’re about to flood their products with AI, which is actually pretty damn exciting. There will be things like using a text prompt to modify your own photos (not sure this is great for society…). They’ll also be more active with publishing research, and it sounds like much more activity in open source. Nice.

Omg, are we finally about to see some kind of Siri-related AI? I still can’t totally tell for sure, but OpenAI is bringing a ChatGPT update to the market, and Apple is involved. There’s gonna be some native iPad support for the AI chatbot. Apparently, Siri is going to be involved, and ChatGPT messages will be drag-and-droppable into other apps.
